Spice up your Mad covers the Bradford way!

Dear Mr. Gilford,
Hello, Bradford again. You probably don't remember me (so to refresh: I'm 15, I live in sunny California, I'm a HUGE Mad fan). Anyway, I wrote to you a while back with pictures of my autographed MAD magazines. I think I only had about 3 or 4. Well, I was bummed that you never put them on your site, in the fanmail or odd sections or something!!!! So, after a year or so now that I have 20 signed MAD magazines, I thought I'd give it another shot. I use your site everytime I need to find another MAD to have signed, so it would mean a lot to me if you could get these onto your site.

Bradford,
This is a really cool achievement and I'll definitely be sharing it with my website viewers. I think I'll give you your own page so you can add to it in the future. A perfect addition to the page I'm going to create would be a photo with you and some or all of your collection of autographed covers. It's up to you if you want to draw that much attention to yourself, but I think site viewers would find it all interesting.
Thanks,
Doug

Here are some pics I thought would be good. One is of me with some of my collecton
(the Family Guy and Batman ones especially as they are my two favorites, The Office one would be third favorite).
One is me with Joanna Cassidy (of Who Framed Roger Rabbit?). One is me with Ray Harryhausen (producer and special effects model genius, mostly mythical beasts in sci-fi movies, which explains the cyclops cover I had him sign). One is me with Noel Neill (Lois Lane in the Superman TV shows with Kirk Alyn and later with George Reeves, and also had a cameo in the 2006 Superman Returns, which would explain the cover she signed).
I met each of them at one of those shows and had my dad take my picture with them and the MAD magazine they signed.

Now... Onto the covers!

Two of the magazines (the Family Guy and the Office ones) I got autographed when I attended an event held by
the Museum of Television and Radio in Los Angeles, CA. As for most of the other ones, I met the signers in person.
The only ones I didn't meet were Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway (because I bought that one),
and Al Pacino and Dennis Weaver (because I sent them both the magazine and asked them to sign it).

Mad #488: Signed by 76 year old chimpanzee actor Cheeta. He's no J. Fred Muggs, but he's close.

Dear Doug,
As you know, I get some of my Mads signed by sending them to people and requesting a signature. Well, for the past few months I have been trying, and trying, and trying to contact the artist of Mad #38, J. Fred Muggs. Yes I know he's a chimpanzee, but from what I've last heard, he's still able to draw and what not. Well, he's getting old, and all I know is that his current owner's name is Gerald Preis. So, I was wondering if you could put up an ad, that I am offering a $25 money order reward to the first person that can supply me with a valid address for the chimp, and his owner. I'd really like to get him to sign the Mad, and am seriously willing to give a $25 reward. I know it's a little Mad (apologize for the pun), but this is my last resort. I've tried every other thing I could think of, including email Dick DeBartolo of Mad Magazine (who thinks I'm crazy by the way). So, if you could put this offer up on your site long enough for me to get an answer, that'd be great. You can tell them to email me here (ScoobyDooGuy1991@go.com). Thanks again,
Bradford N. Smith

p.s. my response from Mr. Debartolo
(in case u were wondering about it):
Bradford
An address from almost 50 years ago? MAD has moved five times since that cover and there's no one here who was even around when that issue was put together. It took me five hours to find out where I put your email and that came in just two days ago! Short version, we truly have no idea how to contact Mr. Muggs.
