Hi all you MAD fanatics!
In response to the Mad advertising bombshell...I am disappointed that Mad is now
taking advertising. The Mad that I grew up reading has slowly eroded away.
This is not to say that the current Mad doesn't have it's funny moments, but it
is a very different magazine than it once was.
I agree with the sentiment that I would rather have a Mad with advertising than
no Mad at all. But I would also rather have a Mad on crummy paper, at a
higher price, and even back to 8 times a year, than have a Mad with advertising.
